3D printing

X Creator prints high quality parts by FDM printing for testing, prototyping and production up to 1000 parts per year. 

For production we are in favour of PA-CF, PETG and TPE / TPU. For prototyping many more materials are possible like PLA, PC, PP, PE, PPA, PPS and more.

Compared to injection molding the strengths and weaknesses of FDM 3D printing are:

+ No investment for tooling is required. Suits low production series up to a few thousands.

+ Easy to change material & color.

+/- Geometrical possibilities differs from injection molding. In general there are more options and possibilities with 3D printing.

- The raw material costs more, plastic filament vs plastic  pellets.
